Plan, tell the truth, keep listening
Three simple principles behind every Tellado home.
A lesson from school has stayed with me: never fail to plan, and never plan to fail.
At Tellado, we detail a project down to the smallest decision before work begins on site. The drawings, the materials, the sequence of work: the more that is resolved on paper, the more freedom there is to do it well on the ground.
No such thing as “under process”
Communication is the most important tool of management: updates, progress reports, the true status of every task. One thing is very clear in our office. We always share the exact status. At Tellado, there is no such thing as “under process”.
At Tellado, there is no such thing as “under process”.
When everyone knows exactly where things stand, every hurdle is visible, and a visible hurdle is one that can be solved. It is how a complex house reaches completion with nothing swept aside, and how our homeowners always know where their home stands.
Listening to every voice
Good ideas can come from anywhere. The new roof at The Vale began with a passing remark from our project engineer. Creativity is a continuous process, and it pays to listen to what is being said, whoever is saying it.
