On a sloping stretch of the South Maharashtra coast, the land drops toward the river and the river opens to the sea. The house extends beyond the fall, and leans toward the water.

The view arrives all at once. The river in the foreground. The sea beyond. The coastline running into the distance, changing with the tide, the weather and the hour. The house is arranged around that moment.
